Taiwan-o-blog ! (part trois)
Day 3. Ximending -> Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall -> Taipei city hall-> Danshui -> Tamshui fisherman's wharf -> Wufenpu night marketAs the shops in Taiwan won't open till noon, it was pretty hard to come to a general consensus for our morning activity. Left with not many choices, we settled in for a visit to Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall.
We woke up early that morning hoping to witness the change of guards parade. But to our disappointment, we were told by a security guard that the parade has ceased temporarily due to the ongoing construction works. What a waste (of our time) ! We could have woken up later !
Nonetheless, we continued with a walk around a mini-park, followed by a non-guided tour around the museum.
