Monkey

This is just one of the random artworks i did out of boredom. It is not meant to be a mockery or a picture form of satirical expression. And ultimately, no harm intended! :)

Children

Children - a seemingly harmless creation and an epitome of innocence and naive charm. These are just some of the children that had crossed my path and captivated me during my stay in China. Just because of my love for kids and my perpetual effort in trying to capture the best picture of them, i've been dubbed as a paedophile by my tour companions :(

The demureness of this little girl exudes the traditional upbringing of a girl in a typical China village. Taken by JY.

Look how easily fun and happiness can be derived from a puddle of rain water

Little boy amazed by the waves of steam rising from the buns

A young sprinter has emerged from a game of chasing with friends

Learning how to walk

Curiousity induced by the human traffic at the bus interchange

Too engrossed with their new found 'toy' to notice the world

boredom

There is The Speak Good English Movement and Speak Mandarin Campaign, why isn't there a Speak Malay/Tamil Campaign in Singapore ? So far, I've only seen SBS buses zipping by me with those tastefully done up advertisements promoting the use of English/Mandarin. To sustain my curiousity, i did some googling, but it yields nothing. Pardon me for my nescience if this is not true. This is just how blasé i am, staying at home, pondering over mundane things.

Flipping through the newspaper's weather section, the appalling fact of rain/showers over in Hong Kong and Shenzhen is disheartening me. With rain, sight-seeings trip will be hindered; which equates to more shopping. Arghz. Hope the weather will turn out for the better throughout our entire 13 days stay there. Rain rain go away...

China

Armed with only 2 friends, 1 luggage and an exhaustible supply of money, off i go to China in another 6 more days. This trip will be a special one as there's no parental guidance involved; we're free to roam the streets and its all up to us in managing and monitoring our financial status. We'll be juggling between shopping and sight seeing on our 13 days journey and i hope everything will turn out as it should be. Right now, i can only do the final preparations while waiting for this day to arrive.

My pre-trip photo!
