Vacuum cleaner

The juxtaposition of 2 seemingly identical vacuum cleaners raised my curiousity and so i inquired one of the store assitant. Me:" Which of the two is better ?". He pointed expeditiously to the one on the right; of which costs more and he added on saying that its better because there's an additional suction power control knob on it. Sensing something amiss, i questioned him :" So is the knob useful?" He faltered and replied :" No.". Well, well, what can i say. Dumbfounded.

pix for thoughts...

The world is never a small place for such coincidence...

New year...

Days after days of rain, casting ennui on me. No matter how much enthusiasm and vim i have on engaging in outdoor sports, the bad weather has already snatched it all off - from me. Trapped at home, i've got nothing much to do, except to turn into an esurient monster. Since i'm not a connoisseur of food, i'll just eat anything that's edible at home, less those that requires preparation. Increased in intake of food but a standstill in exercising, what a way to start the new year.

Dreadful thoughts would always shadow upon me whenever i think about the division 'saikang'. We were the few 'suay ones' to be inured into doing one of the 'shitty-est' job. After being told that being incompetent in the army is okay, i've concluded that incompetence is the key factor in leading a primrose path for one's NS life. If one starts this mores too late, more often than not, he/she will fail. And his entire NS life would be filled with 'shit', tons and tons of it. I happened to fall victim into that. I'm not saying i'm competent, but i'm just incapable of 'smoking out'. As till now, i've already been 'arrowed' to do more 'saikang' vis-à-vis the rest of my platoon mates. Really hope that we'll be reasonablily compensated at the end of it for the precious time and hardwork we've put in.

Yeah !

After months of hiatus, i finally got back my dope of trance music at Phuture. Kudos to Lionel, Felix, Brandon and Chris for unleashing yet another uplifting and euphoric set . It was a rather retrospective night for me as flashbacks of the good old days of 'trance-ing' shuttered through my mind - the day i stumbled upon trance music, the day Trancerepublic was born, my first clubbing during Trances>1. All in all, i really enjoyed myself yesterday night; jumping to the beats of my favourite trance music.

The turnout at Phuture was not bad (crowded but not packed), considering the fact that the bulk of the clubbers were at previous night's new year's eve party. Zouk on the other hand also had its fair share of clubbers, although the main bulk of clubbers flocked over to Phuture. Hail to TRANCE man !

Next event worth attending would be Paul Van Dyk's politics of dancing world tour at Zouk on the 30th this month. It would definately be another milestone for the local trance scene. Woohoo, i'll be waiting for this day to come. P.L.U.R !
